Hail , oh Lord Shambhu, one who "self appeared"[p]
source of Ganges, Shankara, oh merciful lord who redeems me from this ocean of sorrow, samsAra [a]
without gunas, one who is beyond time, past, present and future
truth beyond gunas, beyond all things finite, oh infinite, blissful, wondrous, ever the same lingA [c1]
This is just the rhythm of the dance of creation and destruction
The lord (Isha) who is worshipped (vandita)by Muni Matanga (Matanga Munivara) , He whose only clothing is the sky (sarva digambara vestita vesha), He who is enterained by dance(nritya niranja) , he is also the eternal lord of Dance (nitya natesha). He is Isha, Sabhesha ( Nataraja), Sarvesha (The form assumed by Shiva to qench the anger of Narasimha after killing Hiranyakashipu).
